I’m really confused about the way to import presets folders/packages with the new LR CC updates. It’s been a while since I’ve imported one. Just did today and I finally went back to the old way of just moving the folder from downloads to the develop preset folder within Lightroom. The new way (clicking on the + button at the top next to Presets and then clicking import) would not allow me to import whole folders. I always had to select all the presets in the folder and then when I clicked import, it would put in in the User Preset option instead of in its own folder with the other preset folders - I’m assuming because I couldn’t import as a folder.
After doing it the old way and restarting LR CC, I went to check out the presets to make sure they were added. They were but I noticed that quite a few preset folders are now missing from the presets menu. They are still all in the develop preset folder within the LR (library>app support>adobe>LR>develop preset). I have no idea why they were deleted from the Preset menu in the develop module.
I’m including 2 screenshot so you see what I’m seeing. The first one will show the contents of the develop preset folder. The second one will show the preset menu in the develop module. There are 8 preset folders missing. Hoping you might have some suggestion of rectifying this puzzle.
