This might be a tricky question, but I would be very pleased to see it solved somehow, because it´s very annoying. In Lightroom you have the possibility to create your own camera profiles for different purposes with Adobe DNG Editor, XRite among others. This is very handy but there’s a problem. If you convert your raw-files to DNG, Lightroom will embed the first camera profile found in the alphabet into the DNG. You can still choose the profile freely even if there’s an embedded profile written in the DNG, so for most of the time this is not a problem. But if you have a develop preset where the camera profile is specified and the profile this preset is referring to cannot be found, Lightroom will use the embedded profile instead of Adobe Standard.
I run into this situation when I tested presets from VSCO and Totally Rad, because they have camera profiles with their presets.
So my question is why does Adobe embed the first profile in the alphabet into DNG because it doesn´t make any sense and is there a way to remove the embedded profile from DNG files somehow?
