I have a Voigtlander 50mm F2 APO lens mounted on a Leica M10R. As the camera does not recognise the lens I use the nearest profile I can find. However when I import into LR I can choose the correct profile. Is there a way to automate this so that each time the import applies the correct profile. At the moment I go into profile, change from Leica to Voigtlander, and it defaults to the wrong Voigtlander lens - I then have to manually select the correct one. I think I can batch amend using autosynch each time after import but ideally I'd like to do it during import.

Many thanks

Andrew

Solution
You can do this - see "How do I set a default lens profile" on page 320 of your Missing FAQ book.

Once you have set that default profile you can apply that profile during import by including the Lens Corrections within a develop preset which you can then add via the import dialog.

Many thanks. I have the Missing FAQ but maybe it is not uptodate as p 320 in my edition is about Histogram & RGB values. - Found it on p 281
