Hello Everyone,
My terminology and general knowledge is very limited in the question I am asking so please hang with me.
I use Lightroom CC extensively but almost everything I do is limited to the develop and library modules. I am a firearms broker and specialize in selling old and collectable firearms. Speed is important regardless of the value of what I am listing. I use Photobucket for offsite image hosting for images in one of the sites I advertise in. Photobucket is slow and at times unreliable. I have ample cloud storage for anything I post but I do not know how to code the images from Lightroom to whatever hosting site I would use (open to suggestions). I am not even sure I am using the right codes. I use what works from Photobucket.
I can upload to Photobucket with a plugin but the process is slow and cumbersome. Often, the plugin does not work and I must export the images in the correct size and format to my hard drive and then manually upload them to Photobucket.
In other words, I need to turn JPG fines to links quickly and get them to the hosting site. Below is what the links look like from Photobucket that I paste into my HTML editor.
<!-- <img src="http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/...olt_King_Cobra_Enhanced_1384_104.jpg~original" border="0" alt="Colt_King_Cobra_Enhanced_1384_104 photo Colt_King_Cobra_Enhanced_1384_104.jpg"/>
-->
There may be a better way to code this that I am not aware of. My knowledge of HTML is limited.
There may be 20+ images I do this with. I am trying to find a better way to get the links from Lightroom to my HTML editor.
This may be the wrong place to ask the question. If it is, would some kind person point me in the right direction?
I shoot most everything with Nikon D800 in RAW format. For quick work, I will step down to a D7100 and shoot JPG.
Thanks’ for your help and understanding. You won't hurt my feeling a bit if you tell me I am going about this wrong or whatever.
Y'all have a great morning, day or evening depending on where you are.
Roger
