Lightroom Version Number
9.3
Operating System
  1. Windows 7
Canon 90D raw file name is IMG-1001.CR3, IMG-1002.CR3...
Is there anyway to rename them to add today's date as IMG-1001_200915.CR3, IMG-1002_200915.CR3...when today's files were imported?
Further more, rename them in hard drive?
Doing so, it will be easy to identify the date for photos.

To add to Cletus's comment, you won't be able to todays's date. The date used in the naming template will be the date of shooting, as recorded by your camera in the file.

In the naming template you can structure it like this
{Filename}_{Custom text} then when you use the template in the import dialog, type "200915" in the "custom text" field.

Do you need help with how to create a naming template?

BTW, For this to work you must be using the Copy, Move, or Copy as DNG modes in the import dialog. Using the "Add" doesn't allow this.

Yes, I am very appreciated if you can teach me how to create a nameing template.

  1. In LR press the F2 (function 2) button on your keyboard to bring up the File Renaming Editor. You can also get there by clicking the up/down arrows in the import dialog, File reaname panel on the Template line. If you get a list of templates, scroll to the bottom and select "edit"
  2. Click the drop down arrow at the right of the file naming line

  3. Select "Edit" from the bottom of the list that will pop up
  4. In the File Renaming Template editor clear everything from the text box under the "example" line

  6. Now in the box under "example" type your seperator character ("_" or space or "-" or whatever you want
  7. In the "Sequence and date" section, click the 2nd item and select the date format you wish. Then click "Insert" on that line BUT DON'T CLICK DONE

  8. To save the preset for further use, click the drop down arrow on the "Preset:" line at the top and select "Save Current settings as a new preset"

  9. In the new popup, give it a name.
  10. Now it will be in the list available during import or in the library module when you use F2
