Keyword issue

Just noticed that when adding a keyword to an image the number of images with the keyword correctly updates (eg from 43 to 44).
However when selecting the arrow next to the keyword (to select all images with that keyword) the newly added image does not show (ie only the previous 43 images show).
Have tried restarting both Lightroom and my MBP with no effect.
Slightly oddly it is only happening with some images and I wonder if it only happens with images where I have copied all the keywords from another similar image rather than entering them from scratch. Does this make sense?

Is the 44th image buried in a collapsed stack? If so, exand the stack. You can read more about this at the link below. The link referres to the "All Photographs" special colleciton and when you click the right arrow on a Keword in the Keyword List panel, it automatically changes your source to the "All Photographs" special colleciton.

Thanks but has not solved the issue. All very odd!
It does seem to be related to just one image as other images are being added and shown correctly.

when you click the arrow in the Keyword list panel and it sets a metadata filter for that KW, what is the count shown in the metadata filter?

Thanks to those who have suggested solutions. Very strangely the issue has disappeared without (as far as I can recall) my altering or changing anything.
One of life's mysteries I guess.

as no other filters seem to be set, You may want to Test Integrity and optimaze the catalog to see if that clears things up.
