    Export will export whatever images are selected. Try Ctrl-D to de-select everything and then select one image by clicking on it. Beat

    Yes. CS5 only supports ACR up to version 6.7. You can still use CS5 out of LR4.3RC for external edits though, you just have to use "Render using LR". Beat

    If you REALLY need to remove them before importing, you'd have to use a separate program (like ExifTool) to remove the keywords. But, OTOH, why not just Import Select all images within the "Previous Import" collection Delete all keywords in the keyword entry box Purge unused keywords ? Beat
