The "back" and "forward" buttons

The left and right arrows just above the filmstrip, on the left side of the screen, are called the Back and Forward buttons. The back button takes you to your previous view, and the forward button goes the other way. As part of the filmstrip, they're visible in every module.

One of our Gurus recently forgot about them, and suggested that I post a Tip & Trick about it after being reminded... That particular example was this:

When you Import, the view automatically jumps to the Previous Import view. If you were in the middle of doing something and want to get back to that while the Import runs in the background, use the Back button.
