Having a problem with Selections.

I'm in a (standard) Collection. No matter what I select, LR decides that it wants to select the first two images in the Collection.

The three images show the start position when I open LR, then I use CTRL+D to remove any selections. A second or so later with NO key presses, LR decides to select the 1st two images again.

I have done an Optimize. I've re-booted. with no success.

I haven't re-installed yet (or re-set preferences). I'm reluctant to do that till I check further.

Google isn't much help as the terms are too vague.

The two files here are Videos, but I'm not sure that is relevant. If I manage to get another file selected, and then select a different image, LR decides that those last 2 files should be selected (as if I'd held down the shift key) and I have checked with a different keyboard, I do not have a sticky keyboard.

Have also checked that this double selection happens in other collections and when looking in folders

Any comments welcome. Thanks

Weird one. Do you have a graphics tablet attached to your computer?

I'd try resetting the preferences if restarting and rebooting fail to fix the problem. Re-installing seems unlikely to help.
