How do I restore Master catalogue held on Dropbox
Welcome to the forum. Do you have a backup copy of the catalog, and is that the file you want to access, or are you hoping to trying and repair a corrupted catalog?

Thanks for the reply Ken,

I use Lightroom and keep my data in Dropbox online. I have managed to open the Master catalogue. I also have a copy in a Carbonite backup. I chose this cloud solution as even local network storage can fail.

I am restoring files at the moment and will see what if any damage has been done by installing a Windows 11 Update for May 2022 and ending up in the Blue Screen of Death.

I will be wary of installing Windows update in the future.

Thanks again,

Ian

Sorry to hear that you are having Windows upgrade issues. You are not the first that I know of, and I hope you get things back on an even keel.

Good luck,
