Hello Everybody! I have taken some invaluable pictures on my iPhone 12 Pro and want to move them directly from the phone into my LR classic library on my mac. I'm afraid to transfer the pictures that have already downloaded from the cloud into the Photos app because I don't want to lose any info. The photos were taken in raw and they need a lot of tweaking. Does anybody have any info on how to do this to a newbie? Am I worried over nothing? Thanks ever so much, Meredith

If they are on your phone and RAW, How did they get there?

If they are in your Photos app, you can import them into Lightroom (mobile) where they will get sync’d to the Adobe cloud. If you turn on Syncing in Lightroom Classic, any images in the Adobe cloud storage will get sync’d to your Lightroom Classic catalog and stored locally.

Copying files from one media to another does nothing to harm the files. A hard drive in the cloud server is no different from the one on your computer.

FWIW, I import Nikon NEF RAW files into Lightroom on my iPadPro and they show up in a short while in my LrC catalog on my iMac.

Have you tried plugging your iPhone into your MAC? You may be able to see the picture folder there which means LrC could see it.
