    Rob, I believe you have “nailed it”, that indeed appears to be the case. I’m not sure how I managed to upgrade the catalog twice, but that certainly seems to be the case. Great catch! This seems to be working just as you described. Much less work than I expected. Thanks, Larry

    Skylum/Luminar recommends that when using Luminar as an external editor to use the Export function. See attached. I have tried Edit In and Library->Plug-in Extras and Export is the only method that consistently returns the image from Luminar to Lightroom.

    Actually I have tried this several times. It goes away when I close LR, but as soon as I reopen it the line reappears. I have also done this procedure in conjunction with shutting down my PC and restarting. Thanks for the suggestion.
