To install LR 6.14 on a new laptop, I had to have a valid (non-upgrade) version of LR installed. After installing LR 4, the installation of 6.14 went fine and now seems to be working. In the Program Files directory, there is a directory for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 and another one for Adobe Lightroom, which contains the 6.14 executables. Do I need to keep the LR 4 directory tree? If not, can I just delete all the files, or do I need to uninstall LR 4? Likewise, the installer created a folder on the desktop with all of the installation package, payload and resource files...can these just be deleted as well? Finally, when I entered the Product Keys for both LR4 and LR6.14, Adobe did not complain about activation counts even though I could not deinstall LR 6.14 from the previous laptop (I also have LR 6.14 running on a desktop system). Are they just not checking anymore? Sorry for the long winded question. Thanks for any help.
