Any impact on speed using external HDD?
Hi, I use LR cloudy and so far, all my photos are just in the cloud. Going forward, it makes sense (to me) to keep a local copy of all originals - in case Adobe servers crash, get ransomwared, data corruption etc. If I change the "storage location for originals" from my C drive to an external...- del.hand

LR Use of GPU - Big Improvement on V11 of Classic.
The LR 11 release notes say "If your GPU RAM is above 8 GB, GPU acceleration for export is enabled by default. However, if the GPU RAM is less than 8 GB, then select Edit > Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Custom > Use GPU for Export." So that means LR is using the GPU for...- GregJ
