    I deleted the Presets file, com.adobe.LightroomClassicCC7.plist, and put it in a folder on the desktop, just in case. Restarted the computer and still had the same constant Drobo activity. But maybe I should have put it in the trash and emptied it? Will do that today and try using LR again...

    On a Mac, Ctrl-click gives a dropdown menu, but no choice to mark as up to date. I think this started with the latest Smugmug plugin update a few days ago. Any way to back out of that? No help so far from their forum. I'll try resetting the LR pref's.

    Well, I reverted to 11.1 and now when I go to each Smugmug gallery and look at Grid View, it starts moving ALL the pictures up to Modified Photos to Re-Publish and the Drobo starts writing constantly, just as it did with v 11.2. Very frustrated!!!

    I think that's not for my problem -- I want to change the primary editor to PS 2020. I have 2020 as the secondary editor, but that only lets me open an image "with LR adjustments" -- as a flat image. I want to be able to re-open and work on a saved layered file.

    The Mac Pro is Late 2013 -- I should be able to upgrade but have been leery of doing so, as every time I upgrade anything, bugs and incompatibilities seem to surface. I should do so soon, though, before its to late to get the next version up instead of the latest and greatest (if it isn't already).

    Switching to sRGB seems to have fixed it -- WHEW!! HUGE THANKS! I'll wait for the bug fix. I can't live without LR and have already downloaded a couple of shoots into the new catalog. A temporary smaller display color gamut is a small price to pay.
