Lightroom Classic 12.2.1 has been released today. This is a special double-dot release purely to address a Windows sync bug reported in 12.2. This follows a temporary fix on the Adobe servers and corrects the issue in Lightroom Classic. Note that the server-side fix will be undone shortly, so if you’re on Windows, you will need to update to this version to avoid this particular sync issue.
Bug fixes:
This is an update purely for the one bug fix:
- Lightroom fails to sync since 12.2 update (Windows Only.)
If you find a bug, click here to learn how to report it to Adobe.
How do I update?
To update, go to Help menu > Updates or click the Update button in the CC app. The update servers take a while to push the updates around the world. This is deliberate to avoid overloading the servers. You can also open the Creative Cloud app, click the … icon (top right) and select Check for Updates to give it a nudge.
Is the book updated?
The eBooks for Adobe Lightroom Classic – The Missing FAQ are already updated for the February changes, and can be downloaded immediately after purchasing. If you already have a current Lightroom Classic Premium Membership, the updated eBooks are available for download in your Members Area.

Where do I find the programe?
I had to roll back from 12.2 to 12.1 LR Classic in Mac due to a new bug regarding watermark placement. Still waiting for the fix. Adobe knows about it, I believe.
Yes, that bug is still outstanding (see our blog on 12.2 where it’s listed with the Adobe link)
