Lightroom Classic 10.1 has been released today. As well as some performance improvements, bug fixes and new camera/lens support, the engineering team have spent this release cycle focusing specifically bugs from 10.0 and on Big Sur compatibility. The entire Lightroom Cloud ecosystem has also been updated.
Please note, if you are using a Mac with a Custom Monitor Profile you may want to consider staying on 9.4 for now as the user interface performance issues introduced in 10.0 are not yet solved. Alternatively, temporarily using an sRGB monitor profile may be a workaround if you’re primarily working in the Library or output modules.
We will keep this blog updated as new issues are discovered.
Zoom – Updates

How do I update?
To update, go to Help menu > Updates or click the Update button in the CC app. The update servers take a while to push the updates around the world, to avoid overloading the servers. You can also open the Creative Cloud app, click Update on the left, then click the … icon (top right) and Check for Updates to give it a nudge.
Lightroom Classic book
For extensive information on Lightroom Classic, see Adobe Lightroom Classic – The Missing FAQ.
If you have the Photography Plan, then as well as Classic you have access to the Lightroom cloud ecosystem including the mobile apps and web interface. For more information on these apps, see Adobe Lightroom – Edit on the Go.
Note: purchase of these books includes the first year’s Classic or cloud-based Premium Membership (depending on the book purchased), giving access to download the latest eBook (each time Adobe updates the software), email assistance for the applicable Lightroom version if you hit a problem, and other bonuses.
We also have a special bundle offer for the two books. This includes Premium Membership for the first year as described above for the whole Lightroom family!

I’m still on Mojave (and 94). Will 10.1.1 work if I update?
Paul McFarlane says
You can. Mojave is the minimum OS required. However, some have found performance issues with 10.x, you may choose to wait for 10.2 for these to be resolved.
Sjoerd says
Since updating to Ver10.1 (on a Windows 10 Desktop) I’ve noticed that from some images duplicate Thumnails are created. Like a Vitual Copy, they can be treated differently (changing Metadata, Editing, etc.). However, when I remove 1 of the Thumbnails from the Catalog, both Thumbnails are removed. Today this happened to 6 DNG Files, which are in fact ProRAW Files. On the other Hand… It happened not to ALL ProRAW Files. So this might be a coincidence.
Has anyone a Suggestion?
Sjoerd says
Update: After executing “Test Integrity & Optimize the Catalog” one of the Thumbnails got an Earmark as a sign that it is a Virtual Copy. I was able to delete these Virtual Copies without a Problem.
Sounds like an easy Workaround, but still I’ve no clue about the Cause. Is it unpredictable behavior of the new ProRAW Format?
Victoria Bampton says
That’s a mystery to me too, so it would be worth reporting as a possible bug at https://feedback.photoshop.com
Vitaliy says
Since this update, all my HEIC files have become “damaged or unrecognized” by the LR Classic!
Does anyone have the same problem?
I’m using MacOS 10.15.7 on Mid-2012 MacBook Pro, with the latest LR Classic (10.1)

This isn’t something we’re coming across, so suggest you log a bug report for it:

My video problems resolved by setting video to “Auto”.
Dave Buehler says
HI,
I have had my P800 for 5 years and I use many different Epson photo print sizes. My current 13 x 19 print sheets are Epson Premium Photo Paper GLOSSY No. S041289. To date I have not experienced
that problem. Many thanks for your continuing Lightroom support.
Richard Renner says
Several months ago, I found that when printing 13×19 sheets on an Epson P800, I was unable to get even margins all around. No matter how I set up the margins in the Print Module, the prints came out flush right. This does not happen on other paper sizes, and a web search confirmed that this is a common problem. Apparently, Epson blames Adobe, and Adobe blames Epson. Prior to when this problem started, I successfully printed many successful 13×19 images, so I’m inclined to blame Adobe.
Do you have any experience with or thoughts about this?
Denis de Gannes says
Maybe I am asking the obvious but do you have the image cropped to 13 X 19 dimensions?
