How about a nice little Lightroom project for the weekend? 2014 is coming up quickly – do you have your calendar yet? What if you could easily make a 2014 calendar in Lightroom, featuring your own favorite photos? Now you can!
So what will you need?
First, you need to download the 2014 Calendar files.
Download the manual, templates and example calendars from Ed Weaver’s website (scroll down to the bottom of the page to the zip file). He has variations with large and small numbers, with the weeks starting on Sunday. They’re designed for US paper sizes, and they’re all in English.
If you’re looking for something slightly different – perhaps another language, or you’d like to use a different font, or you just want to start the weeks on Monday, there are additional variations available from Thomas Ljundberg’s website. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you’ll also find A4 templates, for those “on my side of the pond”. You can even download the layered PSD files, so you can edit the calendars yourself.
Ed’s included step-by-step instructions in his zip file, which are easy to follow.
Once you’ve created your Lightroom 2014 calendar, you can print it on your own local printer or print to JPEG and send them to your local photo lab for printing.
Have fun creating your 2014 calendars!

Thanks for the links, Victoria! I’ve added Ed’s and Thomas’ pages to our own 2014 Photo Calendars post: http://www.wolfnowl.com/2013/12/2014-photo-calendars/

The templates are designed for US paper sizes – where am I supposed to find that here in UK? Fortunately I spotted this before wasting time downloading the templates and trying to assemble a calendar I would then be unable to print successfully. I’m disappointed that a UK based site would promote a facility that’s only of use in the USA!

Hi fojdmoon, scroll down on Thomas Ljundberg’s webpage and you’ll find A4 ones too. Sorry, I meant to note that in the blog post – thanks for bringing it up!

Hi Christine
Thanks for commenting on the blog post. I’ve just replied on there, but I didn’t want you to miss it.
Thanks so much for pointing it out. There are A4 presets on Thomas Ljundberg’s site, which was the second link in the post. I’d intended to mention the A4 templates in the post – that’s why I’d specified US paper sizes on Ed’s link – but I completely forgot. I’ve updated the post now.
Have fun making your calendar!
Victoria
