Hey,

I recently created some sidecar XMPs (I was confused by the "meta data status: has been changed" message from LR. Now I know it is a bug an irrelevant for me).

After I deleted them, LR still thinks, they are there - it says "embedded files: JPG, xmp".

How can I get rid of that? Another bug?

Thanks
John

You probably have to use 'Synchronize Folder' to make Lightroom update that information, but why do you bother?

You can also hide the metadata status icon in Grid view. In the "Library View Options" View -> View Options... (Cmd/Ctl-J)
uncheck the "unsaved metadata" box in the "Cell Icons" section.
