I read articles telling me that Lr is now ok with Fuji RAF files and then find this saying "oh no not is not". Is there still an issue - certainly I have not seen it on my edits but maybe I'm just lucky

You can create them if you try, but why try? Creating them usually involves crude use of the Detail panel sliders and rather too much pixel peeping.

In my opinion it is now a lot better but still not right. On fine detail and particularly certain types of foliage the effect is still there but you do have to be very critical to notice it. I use X-transformer on the few images that need it. X-transformer costs $36.

I've never found it a problem though I did find a few images where the problem occurred. I did some tests and concluded you can get the same results as Capture One or X-Transformer by increasing the clarity of an appropriate green zone plus maybe a little sharpening: A RAW Workflow (and alternatives) .

Though in practice I never bother.
