Wrong Thumbnail/Photo

I occasionally have an issue with Lightroom 2.5 for Windows where my thumbnail at the bottom will change to match the exact photo before it. When I click back and forth, the photo does not change. If I choose to edit in photoshop, it opens the correct photo, but when I go back to lightroom, it shows the original(wrong) photo with the editted photoshop(correct) photo. I am sure the catalog or thumbnail is just getting corrupted, but don't know how to relink or fix this.

Hi Toby, that's a weird one! Is it a smallish catalog? And are all the pictures currently available? If so, I'd be inclined to close LR, rename the previews file (in case you find you missed something and want to go back) and restart LR. You can go to Grid view > Select All > Library menu > Previews > Render Standard Previews to rebuild them and just leave it running overnight.
