Wrong image count in parent folders

Hi

A client has setup a folder hierarchy for her images. In the catalog tree it happens now that the parent folder show zero image counts despite the child folders contain images. Image searches reveal no results, when the parent folder is active.

As anybody observed this too? What could be the reason?

Is Include Photos from Subfolders checked in the Library menu? It sounds like it may not be.

Yes, that was the solution, thanks! I must have been blind. Actually, I thought that this option would not affect the image count, but only what is shown in the grid view, i.e. images from subfolders or not. To me, image count should not depend on this option.

I have a vague recollection that it changed in v2, but that it didn't affect the folder count in v1. I could be wrong though!
