This forum is full of problem related threads. :(
For once, I will say something about what is working fine...

Some days ago, I taught to myself what can I do to make a good test. What came to my mind was to combine new functions trying thereafter to "pull the carpet" to make them fail.

The chosen image needed a local adjustment in a tiny area in the center and I wondered what if I crop off center (2/3 of image bottom right), apply a vignetting, make the local adjustment (now off center) then move the crop (same ratio but now top left).

Wonderful! The vignetting followed the crop displacement while the local adjustment stayed related to the whole image! This is the way it should be. Nicely done Adobe. :D

What are your suggested things to do to fool LR2.' Beta?
We try it to find what is wrong aren't we? ;)

Lightroom 2 BETA is an excellent version of Lightroom, and there is, presumably, a bit more to come before the official release. I am still hoping for a few more things, but Adobe has done an excellent job with Lightroom.

Unfortunately, negativity is the nature of Forums, where people go to post about problems in an effort to find help. That being said, your "crash test" sounds very interesting, and promising of the capabilities of Lightroom.

Denis, that's exactly what the team is shooting for. Several orders of magnitude more testers on the case.

Among other things:

Repeatable bugs.
User Interface (U/I) issues/inconsistencies.
Suggested usability improvements to *existing* features.
Hardware conflicts (remember the 1.4 bug with certain OLY cameras?)

I think any of those things are valid contributions to this thread for consolidation and forwarding to the Beta Forum.
