Hi all,

Has anyone experienced this problem, and does anyone have a solution?
After using Lightroom, some time after using the program or even after having closed down the app, I suddenly cannot access my internet connection (DSL) either via email or web browser. Checking email brings up the error "WINSOCK Error: No buffer space available." This occurred with Lightroom 2.' and 2.1. Checking Task Manager, Lightroom appears to have closed down fully, and in use, the same amount of RAM as before having opened Lightroom. No other apps running except my email client (and/or web browser).

Any ideas?

Harris

No idea, you should fill in a bug report using the link in the tool bar above.

Hi Harris

I haven't done any serious windows work in a long time, but I seem to remember that's down to a shortage of resources. I have vague recollections that increasing the Windows paging file can help? And keep plenty of disk space free too. I haven't heard of any other reports specifically about Lightroom.
