Let's say I've finished organizing and developing some pictures inside Lightroom. I want to send the photos to Photoshop either for further post processing or use the image processor to convert the files to different resolutions. So I export the photos from LR as PSDs with the "standard sharpening for screen" option. Then I use the image processor from Photoshop CS4 and convert the files to JPEG. Will the files be sharpened again? I heard ACR can introduce some sharpening to the process so it got me thinking that other conversions might do it too.

No. Unless it does because you asked it to!!

Ok, thanks!

You do not need to use PS for resolution changes LR does that quite well?

If you want to send an image to PS for extra edit functionality, try using "Edit in Photoshop" Mac (Apple Alt E) or Windows (Control Alt E)
