hi
I noticed some preset groups I created in LR classic don't appear in their own folder under CameraRaw>Settings
any reason for that?
weirdly some other preset groups (for example the Loupedeck presets) are neatly included in their own specific folder.

also in this particular case there seem to be a copy for each of them....

anyone can shed a light?

thanks

The name and group of a Develop preset are recorded inside the preset's .xmp file (edit one in a text editor to see for yourself). LR will load all presets it finds in the Settings folder and its subfolders , and LR doesn't pay any attention to where in Settings it finds the presets. I'm guessing that Loupedeck's installer added its presets into a subfolder.

Old versions of LR prior to LR 7.3 used the .lrtemplate format for presets, and the grouping was determined by the subfolder containing the .lrtemplate file.
