  • The December 2019 Lightroom updates are now available. Lightroom Classic is just bug fixes and new cameras in this release, but it fixes a whole load of macOS Catalina issues.
    Lightroom (cloud-based service) has export options and direct import on iOS and the ability to contribute photos to someone else's account from the desktop/mobile apps.

Why do I get an error message on loading

Hi Folks
Every time I start Lightroom Classic I get the following two messages. It doesn't seem to have any effect on the program itself but is still annoying to see. It does say what is wrong but I'm not that confident to start fishing around and changing things. In my experience, this only leads to more grief. Any advice would be welcome.

If you click the Learn More link, it should take you to a page with instructions to fix the permissions, and if I remember rightly, a script to do it automatically.
