why cant it find my pics now?

Ok so im using lightroom and i love it, but i went to open it tonight to work on some images i imported the other day and it cant find any images i have, all my drives have question marks by them including C: drive where i had a couple pics i was playing with, i can acess all myimages and i can force them to load in lightroom but it wont connect to them when iopen it says the drive is offline or the file is missing, what did i do wrong?????

Have you checked out the tips and tricks forum Jim?
You can just click on a file question mark and follow the directions to locate it.
What you did? I don't know!! LOL

I hate that when those question mark happens. You may have inadvertently broken the links from LR to the master files by moving files around and/or altering the names of the files. All you have to do is click on the ? Click on locate button and start looking around. Once, you find the missing image- you click on it(the next window will ask you to confirm) and the link will be re-established. And, the rest of the images associated with that photo will also re-link.

Or... Did you "Import from current location" using a linked camera or card reader that is no more connected?

its a computer techs type humor, i have worked in IT before and thats what we used to say when people did stupid things to their computers that caused us grief. We could tellthem that and they didnt get it and we walked away laughing. All we did was jsut spell it out rather the writting it down. used to look em square in the eye and jsut say well it was a common id ten t error dont worry we straightened it out for you.
