Lightroom Classic version: 10.4 [ 202108071231-af9219b9 ]

  1. macOS 11 Big Sur
While opening LR, central panel not showing at all. After "quit" and opening again it is ok.

I have already posted this thread and after some answers from members have reinstalled the app and thought
that problem solved but today still same issue.
Quite annoying and any help will be very much appreciated Screen Shot 2021-09-30 at 14.54.42.jpg

Your current version of Big Sur should be v11.6 . You have the latest version of Lightroom Classic. Do you have an M1 Mac?

I had this missing middle panel one time when I first got Lightroom on either my older intel Mac or my new M1. I rebooted and the problem went away to never return.

Thanks for answer,I have latest version of LR and iMac M1,I have disinstall the software completely and reinstalled it but nothing changed.
When I quit and reopen it is ok for a while and then same again.
You might have another suggestion?

I don’t have any other suggestions. I never needed to reinstall Lightroom Classic, I just rebooted the OS and started LrC fresh and the problem went away and never returned.

I know that you have the latest version of LrC. Do you have MacOS 11.6?

Find Lightroom Classic app in your Application Folder. Right click and choose “Get Info”. For the item labeled “Kind:”. Does it read “Application (Universal)” for M1 Macs or Rosetta for Intel Macs?

Yes, is says that you are running the Universal Compiled version of the Lightroom app which ic the one that the M1 Chip will run natively and not use the intel compiled version needing Rosetta to run on the M1.

More questions: Which Mac do you have? I have the 24" iMac. The M1 is also available with the MacBookPro and Mac mini.
Do you have and use a second monitor? If so, describe it please.
In the Lightroom Classic Help menu, there is a sub menu item "System Info..." Please click on that and copy the contents from the dialog and paste it into your reply here.

Like I said earlier. I saw this once and when I rebooted it has never re-appeared.
If you are getting this repeatedly, while I am not and we have the same hardware and same OS version and same LrC version, then I think you should take this up with Adobe and see if they can figure out why you have a problem and other M1 users do not.
