White "dot" on cloud symbol

Not noticed it before but the cloud icon (in Lightroom Mobile on an iPad) had a white "dot" where the syncing symbol normally shows. Now disappeared but wondered what it could have meant? Cannot find any reference to it elsewhere.
 
What mode were you in at the time?
 
Not sure then. There's a white dot with an exclamation mark when there is no internet available, that would appear throughout the app. There's a white dot with a plus sign in it when in Edit mode and you have applied edits to the current image (syncing of edits only occurs after moving on to a new image, that icon indicates that the syncing of those edits is pending). Other than that, I have a vague memory of seeing a plain white dot before, but can't recall the when and how.
