My white balance selector seems to work to change the white balance but the selection window doesn't change as I move around the image, it is all white. I'm using LR version 7.2 on a macbook Pro

That is a confirmed bug. Because it was discovered shortly before Lightroom 7.2 was released, a fix did not make it into that version.

Is there a place I can go to look for these confirmed bugs in the future so I don't have to waste so much time looking for a solution that isn't there?
