Lightroom Version Number
Lightroom Classic 9.1
Operating System
  1. macOS 10.14 Mojave
My Imac Retina 27” i5 with 24 mb RAM system is still running Mojave and I need to update the OS to use the new Lightroom features. Which OS would you recommend or should I stay with Mojave?h

The minimum macOS to run the latest version of Classic (12.1) is macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later. But this will be dropped (based on the cycle of macOS) later this year to a minimum of Monterey.

Ventura has been out and updated since release a few months back, we both use it quite happily - if your iMac will support ot why not just go for the latest? Then you have all the latest security patches, etc.

The update to Ventura went well, it did hang until I removed an external HD used for TimeMachine, bit then all went OK. I now have the latest Lightroom installed and all other programs seem to be working. Thanks again Paul, being an ex-Windows user I didn’t expect things to go this well lol.
