ello,
I'm a new user of lightroom and am absolutly loving it as I edit through my first wedding using this software. I am on the final stages of editing and would like to run the images through some filters which I use in photoshop.
I don't think the same photoshop filters will work in lightroom though.
I have found a few sites like killer lightroom and peachpit or something and have picked up a few plug-ins from there...
but I would think there is a set of general plug in's that are downloadable somewhere..things like sepia, black and white, borders, texture, soft focus, muted tones, etheral....
and so on..
anyone know of any other sites or places I can obtain these?
thanks,
M

Take a look at inside-lightroom.com for those effects presets (ie not "plug-ins"), but I wouldn't say there's any general source. At this stage, you'd be best advised to shake off presetitis and focus on learning how to reproduce those effects in Lightroom.

Matt K seems to love presets. He frequently has something on his blog, and a bunch in his archive.

I second John's advice as well, treat the presets as a learning tool, a starting place for getting a good handle on the tools LR provides.
