When scrolling through previews, they appear pixelated for a moment - ME NO LIKE

When I scroll up and down through my thumbnails in library, it takes a few moments for the thumbnails to become unpixelated.

I REALLY don't like this... In iPhoto and in Bridge this isn't a problem...

How can this be resolved?

Shouldn't I be able to drag the scroll bar down and the thumbnails to appear seamlessly without it taking a moment for the images to fully "come into focus"?

Rendering previews in advance helps. The reason it happens is it resizes the thumbnails on the fly - there are so many different thumbnail sizes available, caching all of the different sizes would take up huge amounts of disc space.

Even when rendering previews in advanced doesn't help...

It's extremely disappointing that lightroom does this, while a program like bridge does not...

one more thing - I also have to wait the same amount of time for the badges and extras to show up when I have expanded cells selected.

All are rendered after a moment when I stop scrolling... seems minor, but when you're reviewing a large amount of thumbnails, it's a pain to have to wait a moment for each page/scroll down before your eyes can fully see the rendered thumbnail.

I just don't understand how this could be overlooked... how a program like bridge doesn't have this problem, yet lightroom 2 does...

It makes no sense...

I could just use bridge instead of the library module, but that just silly...
