Import When importing photos, I click on expand of a destination folder, the display sits there clocking.

When importing photos, I click on expand a folder and the display sits there clocking. Destination photos will be stored on an external SSD. I have been using this SSD for over a year now.

Are you reffering to the "Source" panel or the "Destination" panel in the Import dialog?

And, by "Expand" are you referring to the "spinner" triangle used to hide/show subfolders?

Is the drive you are trying to access an external drive (you said it's an SSD) and if so try connecting it with a different cable (new if possible).

Outside of LrC, using Windows File Manager can you navigate to the subfolders of the parent in quesiton?
