Just that. Thank you

They are three totally unrelated functions.

"Synchronise Folder" is a means to import images that may have been added to the specific folder outside Lightroom, i.e. when using the command the specific folder is analysed and any new images will be identified for import. It also checks for few other things (metadata changes and missing images), but it's primary purpose is basically an import process targeted at a specific folder or sub-folder.

"Update Folder Location" is a means of telling Lightroom to use a different folder than the current one. Its main use is to switch from one copy of the folder to a different copy of the same folder, e.g. the user wants to move a folder from one drive to another, that can be done by using drag and drop within the Folders Panel but sometimes that might not be the best idea, especially when moving a lot of images from one drive to another, as a failure during that internal move operation may need a bit of sorting out afterwards. To avoid that, it might be better to simply copy the folder outside Lightroom to the new drive using Finder/Explorer, then inside Lightroom use the "Update Folder Location" on the original folder to tell Lightroom to use the copy of the folder in the new location instead.

"Show in Finder/Explorer" simply opens a Finder or Explorer window with the target folder (or image) selected.

Thank you. I figured they were different :) Just wanted to be clear on the difference.
