I work on 2 different workstations. A Macbook Pro and a G5 tower.

For some reason the exported jpeg size on my Macbook are around 1.7MB.

On the tower they are at least 6-7MB.

When I open the image in photoshop the image size is the exact same for both the .jpg and the .CR2 files.

I shoot RAW with a Canon 5d. So the original files are 12.1MB.

I checked all of the export settings in Lightroom.

jpeg quality 1''
color space sRGB

Image Sizing and Output Sharpening are unchecked

I can't figure out why the file sizes are so drastically different. I have been searching the web and can't find any info at all. Any info would be fantastic!

Hi Mark,
I appreciate your response, here is a screenshot from my macbook, the one with the smaller files.

Can you also post a shot from the tower to compare?

I don't suppose the smaller ones have been cropped down at all in the Develop module, have they?

You've got a post-process action running there by the looks of it - could that be resizing or compressing the image? What happens if you turn that off?

Victoria, you are awesome!!! That is what the problem was. Although it is strange because I have been using this droplet for quite some time on my macbook, I looked back at my older files and they are all larger. It looks like maybe when I upgraded from LR1 to LR2 that I started getting the smaller file size. Looks like I need to rework the droplet.

Thanks so much for pinpointing the problem. Well hopefully!
