What if my default printer is not the printer used for printing from LR?

Hi,
I'm using an Epson Stylus Pro 38'' for photographic printing but it is not the default printer on my system (and it will not be). How could I setup LR to make it use the 38'' by default? I looked for a "default printer" option in the Preferences but couldn't find it. Or did I miss something? I can't imagine there's no way to fix this.
Thanks in advance.

It might help to know what OS you are using. Take a few moments to fill out your profile and you will get answers more quickly.

I'm not aware of a way to set up a default printer per program, for either OS, is there?

Not as far as I know. Although it seems my Win 64 print presets seem to keep the printer I've chose

Hi,

My profile indicates that I am using Windows XP Pro :-) .

Hi Victoria,

No, you can't set a default printer per program at the system level. But Lightroom should remember what printer you want to use. Or at least remember the last printer you have used instead of stupidly recalling the system's default printer for each new print job.
