What am I doing wrong in the Print module?

Folks,

Another request for the experts...

I downloaded this print template, but I can't seem to get it to match the preview...what am I doing wrong and how do I change the paper to accommodate it?

I don't think I've had change to welcome you to the forum yet, so welcome!

Which preview are you having trouble matching? The view we can see on screen there... isn't printing that way round? Or am I misunderstanding your question?

The paper size & orientation are set in the Print Setup or Print Settings dialog - depending on your printer.

Thanks for the welcome...

Take a look at the screen shot - the preview on the left shows them nicely spaced out and the actual finished product is on an 8x1' and has long skinny photos...

I hope I am explaining myself correctly...

I think Don's got it - try changing the paper size under Page Setup or Print Settings (which depends on your printer) and you should be all set.

I figured that but I still can't seem to set it up properly in terms of page set up...oh well hopefully some day...but it doesn't much matter if I'm not printing on my own printer - You know it would be great if they allowed you to save to export the set-ups in the print module to a jpg or Tiff...

Well, among other things it can "print" to a jpeg file, which is what I think you were asking for, if I read you right.

There are a huge number of improvements in the LR2 Beta, which you may want to have a look at, although it's a little rough around the edges. On the other hand the new final release of LR2.' is widely rumored to be any day/week/month now, you may want to wait for the 'finished' product.
