Welcome to Lightroom Forums Mitch and thanks for the contribution! :D

I will ask a forum operator to move your post here so it will fit together with other preset sources...

Ditto on the Welcome, and done!

LOL. George?!

Let's make it easy. I prefer Mitch to Glenn. ;)

I hope people find the TLR presets for LR to be helpful.

I just learned about this forum last week from my RSS feed for LightroomNews.

Cheers,

Mitch

Hello Mitch, your presets look great, looking forward to some more and your contributions!!
I'll move the other welcome post here too!!:lol:

Mitch, Glenn, George..... welcome to all of you! ;)

I'll Be Leaving Now

This morning I read this thread:

http://www.lightroomqueen.com/community/showthread.php?t=4423

My review of this site explains my reasons for leaving:

http://www.thelightsright.com/node/8'3

I hope the moderators reconsider their polices. This site would be an absolutely wonderful resource if they would loosen up on the censorship.

If this was an open site, where the moderation was limited to spam, I'd happily become an active participant.

Cheers,

Mitch

Mitch, I'm sorry to hear you feel that way.

If you stuck around long enough, you'd find there have only been a handful of occasions - I can only think of 3, out of more than 4'''' posts - where moderation, other than spam and moving posts to the correct forum, has been necessary.

This is a private forum, and we're all here giving our own time to help users get the best out of Lightroom, and we wish to do so in a positive environment, unlike, as you note in your review, the Adobe forums. The rules are made clear at the outset, and as a result we have a happy friendly community where people aren't afraid to post.

That thread was in the early days of this forum, and the moderation policies have been continually adjusted and matured since that time. Posts are not usually edited (that only happened the once) and you will note that the member who originally posted that thread is still an active member here. I think that fact alone speaks for itself.

HI,

Can someone make all this a bit clearer?

What msg has been changed to what?
Who did this?

Willem, it was a thread more than a year ago, when the forum was still very new and everyone was finding their feet. I remember it, but it was all sorted out at the time, and all concerned are, as far as I know, quite happy with the state of play today.
