I really think the web module can be much better. A higher level of customisation would be great. The ability to add a few link buttons that can link to the previous page or the next slideshow or another part of you site would help a lot

Also the caption of the file should be spaced further from the filename.

I use the caption to let clients know that they should email me the filename. But with the text so close to the filename it looks a bit odd. It would be better for the filename to be a fixed distance from the image and the caption a fixed distance from the arrow and play buttons

Adding music would also be great... but will really be only could if High speed broadband is used.

Actually I wrote the first articles on XSLT galleries way back. Hacked it to match my website at the time, which was a royal PITA.

Writing in Lua is far easier.
