Web Module Tutorials - Setting Titles, Captions, etc.

Because I actually do get a lot of questions on how to set or customize image titles, captions, annotations, etc. in the LR Web module, I've put together two brief video tutorials on the matter.

The Basics video covers how to get your image's IPTC data into the Web module using the Image Info pane.

The Advanced video demonstrates Sean McCormack's ag:formatted technique to format image info using XML.

Both videos are available as downloadable MOV files, or as streaming video from YouTube.

Great program Matthew.... But Screencast has more features for less (like showing the mouse clicks and shortcuts)

That's a hell of a lot cheaper, Sean. I've never heard of it; wish I had before springing for Snapz Pro X a few months back. Too late now ...

There is an app that is similar to Isolator that is designed for aiding in making screen capture videos. I think that it presents a solid color background and maybe isolates the active app. Would anyone happen to remember what that is?

I've seen that one before and briefly used it. There was another one that I think was designed specifically for screenshots and captures. It would temporarily change your background to a solid color and some other stuff like that. I was thinking about this because I often end up trying to verbally explain how to do things to people that may be inexperienced with a particular app, and I sometimes have trouble thinking like a neophyte. I thought that if I could make videos then it might work out better.

Anyway, the two times that I've tried using Screencast, it crashed on me. This isn't the sort of thing that I would want to spend any more than $3' on(if even that much), so I may just let it go.

There was another one called Backdrop. No sure if that's the one you're thinking of. If not, I'm out of ideas!
