Web gallery won't upload

I've been using Lightroom to upload web gallerys to my website for a while. Suddenly it won't work - it starts loading on the site but then stalls out and I get an error message. I can manually export it and load it, but that is more of a pain. Any ideas?

I've tried breaking up my huge LR collection into smaller catalogs, but that isn't helping.

I'm on a quad core powermac, running Mac OS 1'.5.6,Photshop CS3, Lightroom 2, Lacie monitor. I'll try and recreate the error message...
I didn't write it down.

I am wondering if I need to reinstall LR, as another strange thing just happened - I tried to import images off a card, and it kept telling me that the HD I chose to import onto was low in storage space. I double checked and I had not chosen that HD. When I opened a new catalog and imported there, I had no problem and it loaded on the correct HD. Buggy stuff.

Lynne, thanks for posting your system info, Can you place it in your signature (something like I have) please. You do this in the UserCP, top left of the page.

Now to your problem. You say you have LR2, if you indeed do have 2.' upgrade to 2.3 via the help menu in LR. This solved many unusual issues.
If you have LR2.3 we will think again. I use a Mac and haven't seen anything like this. It could be a catalog issue though. You could try up loading from that new catalog and see if you get the error. If not you could then import your work to the new from the old catalog using import from catalog. I have had issues with catalogs and use ones all created with 2.3. Optimising them periodically helps speed them up as well.
