Web Galleries

I make individual catalogs for every event that I shoot.

I then give each photo a star rating and a keyword.

I then only edit photos say, above "4 stars".

What I want to do is create a Web Gallery that inlcudes all 4 star and above photos but have the gallery categorize the web page by keyword. For example, I go to the page and there are 4 links - "Ceremony", "Wedding Party", Reception", "Bride and Groom" and by clicking the link it would display the appropriate gallery which are keywords for the respective photo.

I think Sean McCormack's LRB Portfolio will get you most of the way there. There will be some manual tweaking required as well. Also have a look at The Turning Gate's work. As well as LightRoom Galleries.

Turning Gate's Auto Index could be another good way of linking the galleries together.
