I'm under a gun to produce a web site by the end of the month. Can I create several galleries and then create links to the galleries in Dreamweaver? Or is their a better program or better way?

What about the complete site web gallery (who created it? Matt?)

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Reid

Having Dreamweaver give you more flexibility. Just place each gallery in its own folder subfolder structure.

Welcome,Reid,

Are you on a Mac (filling in your signature with basic info - User CP above, will help)? On my mac I use Dreamweaver and export my web stuff for LR to the onboard Apache site for local viewing. That is my local Dreamweaver site location, too. root/Library/Webserver/Documents is the main location.

THen I do all my uploading from Dreamweaver or CaptainFTP. Much easier to be sure all is uploaded or do partial redos of galleries.

I'm on a PC, but can see how having the folder structure with everything on the website on one folder so could use other folder for storage and posting examples on other forums.

with my LRG Complete 3 template you can do this. you can link directly to a specific gallery or image within that gallery from a link made in dreamweaver. I know matt at the turning gate has also created some great templates that should allow you to do the same. my template is very feature rich and allow a ton of customizable options. You should be able to get something up fairly quick as long as you dont need to ecommerce features. we also provide a basicl use manual as well as offer an Advanced User Manual for purchase to help you get everything setup.

just have a look at matts templates and my templates and see what one fits your needs best and can be created in the least amount of time. i can help you set things up if you would like to use my template
