Hi,

I'm new to Lightroom and this forum. I hope this makes sense.

I'm looking to tap the collective wisdom of this group as to how to best (and easily) publish a web gallery--and where.

I make some limited stock sales and would like to improve my chances. I don't expect much, and the prices are generally low, and I'm not into creating new stock for sale, but if I have something someone wants, I would like them to find my image.

Now, I know keywords are very useful and I'm working on that. There is a plugin for Flickr that I haven't looked into yet, but, in general, I prefer PBase's (www.pbase.com/rlhess) presentation. The bottom row of four galleries are not going to be part of the real site--I have to figure something else to do with this.

I have options of continuing with PBASE for my main display, adding a supplemental gallery on Flickr, and/or putting the images up at www.richardhess.com (and www.richardhess.net for the community things). Currently, gallery.richardhess.com points to the PBase pages, but I'm using that so I can provide options to point to different galleries or host it on my site.

I would love to select the images from Lightroom for a particular gallery and then just upload them and have keywords and captions and everything fall into place.

Also, I may have too-large images (inviting theft) on the pBase site. Any insight into that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!

Richard
