Hi everybody,

I am a newbie, both in LR and on this forum (BTW, thanks for the welcome in another post Victoria!).

I have a question regarding positioning of the Watermark. Sometimes it is better to position it in the lowerr left of a picture, while in other pictures it would be better to have it in the lower right corner.

Thusfar I only printed one picture at a time, so no problem. But how do I do this when I'd want to print (or put on the Web) all pictures in a collection? It seems to me they would all have the Watermark in the same position?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Frank (doing Kite Aerial Photography)

That's correct, they'll all have the watermark in the same location. The best advice I've seen on this, is to create separate watermark templates for each likely position, then export/print in bunches, selecting the proper candidates for each watermark template.

Thanks Brad, that is a simple and good solution for printing! What about publishing with the web module, any workarounds/suggestions there?

Best regards,
Frank

Only doing an export afterwards, using the same dimensions and filenames as in the HTML/JPEG output, and then replacing the Web-generated large JPEG's.

I would like to add my voice asking for some way of positioning the watermarks for each photo individually as part of the processing in the Develop module. It is a huge pain during the batch export and publishing collections. Thanks.
