Wanting to set up numerous External Editors in Lightroom

I have Mac OS X 1'.6.2.
Lightroom 2
Photoshop CS3

I have various software options to use within Lightroom as external editors. eg Topaz Fusion;
Silver Efex Pro; Viveza not to mention Photoshop CS3

I know how to add one as an External Editor, but once I add another the new one cancels out the latest external editor I just one added.

Be grateful if someone could provide a tutorial on how to add numerous external editors in Lightroom 2

Look at the top line of the External Editor panel in preferences. It allows you to create numerous External Editor presets. While it seems as if you can only select one preset, and hence one External Editor at a time, actually, they will all appear simultaneously in the various 'Edit In.....' context menu options.

Hi Sue, welcome to our forum.
You can add many additionasl editors to the edit in function of LR. You can only assign two to Hot Keys. One of those two will be PS or PSE. The others appear as a Dropdown list on the External Editing tab in Preferences.
You can access all of these from the main menu or the context menu. In the main menu, {Photo}{Edit In >} in the context menu {Edit-in >}

There seems to be no problem in adding one or two external editors. Unfortunately when it comes to more than that it refuses to provide additional external editing options.

I have attached 3 screen shots.
1. Adding Efex Pro ( SEP app) this was cancelled out when adding Viveza
2 Adding Viveza.
3. Lightroom toolbar showing edited in - shows Photoshop; Viveza and Topaz Fusion. However unable to add Silver Efex Pro for Lightroom.

In looking at my Preferences and the Context menu. I have four editors set up in addition to PSE. While reading this topic a added an additional editor in the preferences dialog.

To Do this, I selected {Choose} and navigated to the new editor. I then needed to click on the Preset Dropdown (just above {Choose} and select {Save Current Settings as a Nerw Preset...}

If you are having difficulty doing it through Preferences, it can also also be done on the Export dialogue page. Set up the page exactly as you want the export sent to the second editor - format, space, etc. - including navigating to the editor at the bottom section. Click 'Add' at the bottom left corner and the new preset will appear in the list.
