Back to ask for more expert help...

I'm looking to see just the images I haven't flagged with a colour or a rating...

This would help me purge my folders much quicker...

let me know if this is a possibility...use to love this feature in RawShooter essentials...

Cheers,

The Smart Collections feature in Lightroom 2.' should work perfectly for this. For color flags, create one where Label Color is None.

well another solution is...

Okay yours works except when you do that, you end with all of the photos from all of your folders.

Another way is to cycle through your photos and pick X for all of your rejects and then filter your folder by rejects and delete them. It's not exactly what I want for a workflow...because I would like to have access to all of the photos that aren't labeled red, so I can go through again, but without doing some sort of rating system as you put them in, it's difficult to clean up...

ah the joys of working through workflow...

Cheers,

Matt

Checks out you can!!!

in the Library Module go to the Grid view and click on the Metadata...

That lets you do exactly what I want...from there you can select no colour...

one small victory! :)

Cheers,

Library Menu/Edit/Invert Selection. A very handy option!

You can add additional criteria to your Smart Folders -- where Color is Red and Collection Contains "Prints" will only show photographs that meet both criteria.
