When I make a virtual copy, it appears next to the original but there is no indication that it is a virtual copy (no bottom corner of page turned up or copy number at top of thumbnail). The only way I can tell is from the metadata where it shows the copy number. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm new to the forum, so I hope I'm doing this right.

Lisa, depending on whether you mean in the grid view or the filmstrip view:
a) check Library menu > View > View Options dialog > Cell Icons, and ensure Thumbnail badges is checked/enabled. Shortcut to dialog is ctrl-J.
b) it's possible you have the filmstrip sized too small to show the badges, increase the filmstrip size by grabbing the top of the black ribbon above the filmstrip (cursor changes to up/down double headed arrow) and drag it larger.

If it's neither of those, report back.

In Library Mode the bottom LH corner should be turned up but you have to look hard !! However, I agree that this feature could be better as it is difficult to quickly recognise VC's. What I do is colour label all my VC's red for easy recognition. This is easily done. Just filter them out and give them all a colour of your choice. You could alternatively / additionally assign the keyword VC. It is a pity that you cannot create a smart collection for VC's such that it is automatically updated.

Thank you both very much for your help. Changing the view options and enlarging the film strip did the trick. I think that somehow my view preferences got changed when I upgraded to 2.4, because I"m pretty sure it was working okay before that. I'm all set now, and thanks also for the suggestion regarding color-coding VC's. That's a good idea.
